Description

Thuya burl (Tetraclinis articulata) grows only in northwest Africa and is protected under Moroccan law. The knotted grain creates natural amber, brown, and cream swirling patterns impossible to replicate. Each jewelry box is shaped, sanded, and polished entirely by hand by master artisans (maâlems) in the medina of Essaouira — Morocco's woodworking capital since the 16th century. The interior is lined with soft velvet. The lid closes with a smooth magnetic clasp. Care: Wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
